Curriculum

The curriculum section of H2Education is intended to provide educators with easy access to existing materials to teach students about hydrogen. Most sites contain documents in Adobe PDF format. If you do not have a copy of Acrobat Reader click here to download and install a copy to your computer.

University of Montana College of Technology: A Renewable Energy Technicians Program is under development. See a draft course list here.

Fuel Cells - Green Power : An excellent source of information for use in the classroom about fuel cell history, the technology, and the future developments. Written and distributed by the Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Department of Energy.

GMability Education : This General Motors site provides students and educators with information, articles, and lesson plans about internal combustion engines, fuel cells and the environment.

Hydrogen Hopes : This episode of Scientific American Frontiers profiles leaders in the hydrogen economy. The teaching guide is designed to help educators make the best use of the episode on hydrogen.

National Energy Education Development (NEED): promotes energy awareness by providing education opportunities to students, educators, business, government and the community. The curriculum guides & activities contains sample materials from their education program.

The NOVA scienceNow: The Fuel Cells episode provides an excellent overview on the application of hydrogen fuel cells for automotive use. There is also a teacher's guide available to help guide classroom activities.
